Believe In Your Heart, Profess With Your Mouth

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

How do I tell God that I trust Him with my life? I want to surrender my life to God, but I don’t know how.” Have you ever had these thoughts? The Bible gives answers to lots of questions, this being one of them. Once we want to surrender our lives to Jesus we must confess that “Jesus is Lord” and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead. Don’t do them in vain, belief is the most important aspect of this decision to hand over the reigns of your life to Jesus Christ.
Confessing with your mouth that “Jesus is Lord” means that you acknowledge and accept him as your authority and commanding officer. “Believing in your heart” means that you believe with your very existence that Jesus Christ is who he said he is. Do you believe these things today?
