  Here in the book of John, a crowd is following Jesus around and they ask him the question of what they can do to do the works that God requires (to get into Heaven). A perfectly normal question, and Jesus answers it very clearly. He says they must believe in the one He has sent. He, who? He, God.

  In other words, all these people have to do to enter into Heaven is believe in Jesus Christ! If you believe in Jesus Christ, wholeheartedly. Believe in His death on the cross and his resurrection than you can be 100% positive that when the day comes you will enter into Heaven and live a life eternally with Jesus.
