Remain In Me

    I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without me.

  • Jesus is speaking to his disciples and explaining the importance of remaining connected to Him. He promises that if we remain in him and He in us, then we will “bear much fruit.” Practically, Jesus is promising that if we stay connected to him through prayer and reading the Bible, then our spiritual lives and connection to Him will be vibrant and fruitful. On the other hand, if we do not remain in him through Prayer and reading the Bible then our spiritual lives and connection with him “withers” and dies.
