Prayer
Prayer is the powerhouse of TGC. We believe — in keeping with James 5 — that the prayers of the righteous are a powerful tool in the hands of God. And as a church, we want to be known as a place (house) of prayer.

Members of the Prayer Team can serve both on Sundays and throughout the week. On Sundays, Prayer Team members meet before our gatherings to pray over each space on our campus and the hearts of those who will fill them. They also attend to those who come to the altar in our gatherings. Throughout the week, Prayer Team members lift up the various needs of our faith family as they are received.
-
Depending on your role, you may be asked to arrive up to 45 minutes before a gathering begins to pray over each space on our campus before others arrive.
Others serve during the gathering itself, stepping into action as others respond during the invitation moment.
Due to the nature of their work, Prayer Team members usually do not have to miss much (if any) of our Sunday gatherings.
